Epic photography and local expertise for crafting an intentional, stress-free elopement in the great outdoors

If you’re dreaming of a wedding day rooted in nature, intention, and a sense of wonder…

You’re in the right place. I help couples plan epic, stress-free elopements in Olympic National Park and throughout Washington - from short, scenic walks to full-on backcountry adventures. Whatever you’re dreaming up, I’ll help you turn it into a day that feels exciting, relaxed, and completely you.

You don't have to to do this the "traditional" way

A lot of couples arrive here feeling torn:

You’re drawn to a meaningful, adventurous wedding day, but not the pressure or expectations of a big traditional wedding. You might be wondering if it’s okay to choose something quieter. Wilder. More intentional.

It absolutely is.

Eloping isn’t about running away, it’s about giving yourselves permission to create a day that reflects who you are, what you value, and how you want to experience the world together.

Why Olympic National Park is so special

Olympic National Park is one of the most diverse and awe-inspiring places in the country. In a single day, you can move from mossy rainforest to rugged coastline, pass waterfalls, and end with wide-open alpine views and mountain air.

It’s a place that naturally invites curiosity and exploration, moments of stillness and presence, and a deep sense of wonder that’s hard to put into words.

For couples who love national parks and wild places, Olympic offers the rare combination of feeling truly wild while still being approachable. You can slow down, soak it in, and be fully in the moment without needing to travel far or plan something overly complicated.

This is my backyard, where most of my work takes place, and a place I know deeply. From the seasons and light to the quieter, less-traveled corners that make each elopement feel unique.

Real Elopements in Wild Places

Every couple’s day looks different, because every couple is different.

Some elopements are quiet and slow. Others are full-day adventures. All of them are rooted in intention, presence, and a deep connection to place. Here are a few real elopements to get your inspiration flowing.

Hey there, I'm Amy

your elopement photographer

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Most couples don’t! That’s exactly where I come in.

With over 15 years of photography experience and deep local knowledge of Olympic National Park, I help couples turn big ideas into a plan that actually feels doable and exciting. Together, we’ll figure out where to elope based on your vision and comfort level, decide how adventurous you want the day to be, and create a relaxed timeline that leaves room to explore and soak it all in.

I’ll also help navigate permits, logistics, and the details that can feel overwhelming, and talk through meaningful ways to include friends and family, if that’s important to you.

My goal is simple: to help you feel calm, supported, and genuinely excited every step of the way so that when your day arrives, you can be fully present and enjoy the experience.

"Amy was an absolute delight to work with and her photography blew us away." - Ben & Sarah

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

You don’t need a perfect plan or even a date to reach out, just a sense of what lights you up. Maybe it’s national parks, hiking, camping, your dog, travel, or the idea of doing something different from the norm. We’ll start with that. I’ll ask questions, throw out ideas, and help you see what’s possible, whether Olympic National Park is already the dream or you’re still exploring options.

02. We shape the experience

This is where things get really fun. Together, we’ll shape a day that fits you from choosing the right location to deciding how adventurous you want it to be. That might mean an easy walk to an incredible viewpoint or hiking farther for something quieter and more off-the-beaten-path. The goal is a plan that feels exciting, doable, and stress-free, with plenty of room to slow down and take it all in.

03. You get to soak it all in

On your elopement day, you get to be present, and honestly, probably a little in awe. I’ll guide the flow of the day, keep things feeling relaxed, and share in the excitement of being out there with you. You focus on each other, the place you chose, and the experience of it all, not the logistics.

Her presence was calming, kind and attentive. We loved her sense of adventure and that she enthusiastically lead us down snowy trails in 12 degree weather which resulted in stunning photos. The best part is that we can't stop looking at our photos - they're just amazing.

"BEST WEDDING DECISION WE MADE. PERIOD."
