Every wedding and elopement is different, so the best way to find out is to contact me and I can tailor a package specifically to your event.
From getting ready photos to reception coverage, 8 hours will give you the best coverage of everything without feeling rushed.
It might seem crazy, but plan on hiking around 1-mile per hour. Then allow time for exploring, your ceremony, and creating epic portraits. This isn't just any old hike and you'll want time to savor the experience together.
When I first started photographing elopements, couples often came to me wanting just 2 hours of coverage. While this might cover the very basic parts of your day, this is in fact your wedding day, and those memories deserve to be captured. Consider other parts of your elopement day outside of portraits and a ceremony that you might enjoy looking back on years later.
Our custom-designed fine art albums are the perfect way to preserve the memories from your wedding day. Each album is printed with archival ink on a thick fine art matte paper. Choose from over 150 album cover options. Albums are included with many of our wedding collections.

I believe that everyone deserves an incredible wedding experience, and often that means taking the road less traveled. My goal is to inspire you to think outside the box so you can have a once-in-a-lifetime experience on your wedding day. I strive to inspire outdoor adventure, respect our environment, and breathe creativity into each aspect of my life. With 10 years of wedding photography experience under my belt, I love to guide couples through the process of creating an epic wedding day experience.
Absolutely not. Once you book I'll have you fill out a questionnaire that tells me all about your hiking experience and desired backgrounds. There are so many stunning photo locations that require either minimal walking or no hiking at all.
This really depends on number of hours booked with me and how many guests you have attending (if any). On average I deliver 150-300 images for half-day bookings and 400-700 images for full-day bookings. All images come fully edited and ready for you to print within 4-8 weeks of your wedding day.
Not all weddings and elopements are created equal, and you don't need to fit your photography needs into a box. You can contact me to get my full pricing guide and offerings. I'm happy to build a collection with you that fits your wedding day.
All packages of 8 hours and up include a custom-designed 10x10 wedding album that tells the story of your day. You might not think you need one now, but in 10 years you'll be so glad that you do :)
Generally most of my couples have booked with me 9-12 months before their desired wedding date. The summer months fill up the fastest, especially the few weeks during wildflower season at Mt Rainier (late July-early August) and fall in the Tetons (end of September). That being said, I often have weekdays available, which are better anyway if you'd like to avoid crowds.
Absolutely. Even as a kid I was a total nerd about maps and love helping couples find the perfect place to say "I do". I have local knowledge all over Washington and the Jackson Hole area, as I have lived and spent extensive outdoor time in both. I also love scouting new places, so don't let that hold you back if you are eloping somewhere I've never been. I have my very own super-secret photographer scouting tricks and love helping couples find epic, off-the-grid locations for elopements.
